About

I have always seen the world as a symphony of elements, running my eyes from one leaf to the next. The never-ending melody of lines, shapes, and textures brings fire to my imagination. Making art satisfies my need to explore this experience. Sharing art connects these experiences with world.

I am Joanne Harrill; the artist behind JoJoBell. Eclectic jewelry that is hand made in my home studio from precious metals, vintage treasures, exotic materials, and gemstones. I make custom jewelry for individuals to cater to their unique ideas or needs and get a thrill out of breaking the trends of jewelry design.
My attention to detail brings you jewelry that is comfortable and excellent in craftsmanship. I create with the intention of giving you a sense of adventure, a new experience, and uncommon beauty. From the delightfully simple to the splendidly  intricate, JoJoBell jewelry is made to inspire curiosity, connect with life, nature, music, the past, and present.

My story

Once upon a time there was a girl who had an insatiable appetite for making things. She went to art school got a BA in fine art and found she could draw and paint really well. She also found a boy. They got married and he moved her all over the country. Amidst all the moving around she still could not stop making and creating things.

One day, during a trip to a local library she came across a book about making primitive chains out of precious metal wire. That was several years ago (2004) and she has not been back to the library since. Now she spends all of her time making unique jewelry. Some say it is obsessive she says it is her passion she found at the library.

Well, that is the short story. To learn more about incorporating artistic adventures in everyday life and about the jewelry made to inspire you,  follow me on my blog at http://www.jojobell.com/blog
